bates scholarship benefit - 2011
The Bates Scholarship Benefit was held on Thursday, November 3 at D&R Greenway Land Trust in Princeton, NJ. Over 100 attendees enjoyed an evening of gourmet hors d'oeuvres courtesy of Marsilio's Catering and Event Planning, the talents of jazz musician Eric Mintel, an olive tasting by JD Gourmet, and a vast silent auction with items contributed from local businesses, cultural institutions, and individuals.
The event was a huge success! Over $27,000 was raised for the Bates Scholarship Fund, which enables women and families in financial need to participate in YWCA Princeton programs and services, including English as a second language, adapted dance and aquatics, child care and more.
