Located outside of Philadelphia PA, Bernadette is a graduate of New York’s Rochester Institute of Technology and carries a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. She has over 15 years of photographic experience mixed with 10 years as a graphic designer and has recently entered into the interior design space with an Interior Decorating Certificate from Philadelphia University, PA. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen.

"My passion for photography as fine art was inspired by the beauty of traditional black and white prints of nature, landscapes and abstracts by the great masters of photography. I studied traditional black and white printing, also worked with color film and have now transitioned fully to digital capture and printing. Mary's work begins with an inspired photograph she's taken. Using a special digital technique, a very clear vision of her own aesthetic, and only natural sunlight, she is able to produce pieces that render a watercolor or impressionist quality. Note that some pieces remain close to their original photograph as she feels different subjects command different expression. She then prints pieces directly onto canvas using the giclee method of printing, stretches, gallery wraps and hand coats her pieces.
