Wire People Here
Sean Brady is a full-time sculptor living in Northeast Pennsylvania. He began sculpting with wire in 1998 in Portland, Oregon while working at a greenhouse. He was waiting for a delivery and started twisting the wire plant hangers. Soon after, he became a vendor at the Portland Saturday Market and sold there until he moved back to Pennsylvania in 2006.
He has sculpted in clay and wood, and likes the portability of wire sculpting - all he needs is wire and a pair of pliers. He also enjoys the challenge of creating wire people with personality and flexibility and exploring the countless variety of human poses.
